Funeral Services for R. R. Lasyone at Verda Sunday

Funeral services for Robert R. Lasyone, age 54, who died at a hospital at Olla
on Saturday were held on Sunday afternoon at two o'clock at Verda. Services
were conducted by Rev. H. J. Harlan and interment was in the church cemetery
under the direction of the Walsh Funeral directors of Winnfield.

Mr. Lasyone was born in Grant Parish near Hebron. He joined the church of his
faith in 1918 and remained a faithful member until his death.

Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Emma Lasyone, four daughters, Misses Ethyl,
Odelle, Cecil, and Marge Lasyone of Atlanta, one brother, R. J. Lasyone of
Winnfield, and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Keith, Mrs. Monroe Lashley, and Mrs.
Sydney Lashley of Verda.
