Francois R. Lattier Fatally Injured In Fall Falls Off Wagon in Front of His House When Horse Makes Too Sharp Turn The Rev. Francois R. Lattier, age 70 years, 3 months, and 8 days, died at 4:30 Wednesday morning from injuries received when he fell from his wagon in front of his home several days ago. The Rev. Lattier was born at Campti, La., October 14, 1859. He married Miss Euphrasie Trichel, Jan. 23, 1883, who survives him. To this union there were born six children, two boys and four girls. They are Mrs. L. C. Clark, Shreveport, La., Mrs. T. C. Warner, Coushatta, La., Mrs. A. L .Childers, Vineta, Okla., Miss Pearl Lattier, Winnfield, F. O. Lattier, Winnfield, and J. H. Lattier, Shreveport. The Rev. Lattier was elected Representative of Natchitoches Parish for the term 1908-1912, and was prominent during his earlier life in parish and state affairs. During his declining years he has devoted his life to the ministry and has served a number of churches in Natchitoches and Winn Parishes, being the pastor of Hurricane Creek Church in Winn and Lacey Creek Church in Bienville Parish. He was also a member of Eastern Star Lodge No. 151 F. & A. M. of Winnfield. Funeral services will be held at the home Friday morning, the Rev. Alwin Stokes conducting the services. Interment will be at Campti, La., the place of his birth.
