C. E. Lawrence, 82, Succumbs; Rites Thursday

Carl E. Lawrence, 82, of Winnfield, Route 1, died Tuesday, May 23, 1972 in
Winnfield General Hospital.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in the Southern Funeral
Home Chapel with Bishop Loy Gaar officiating.

Interment will be in Winnfield Cemetery.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ, Latter Day Saints.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Claudia S. Lawrence of Winnfield; four sons,
Herman H. Lawrence of Bossier City, Marvin E. Lawrence of Winnfield, Floyd W.
Lawrence of Shreveport, one daughter, Mrs. Vera Culpepper, Selma, Ala., one
sister, Mrs. Dessie O. Speed of Winnfield, 20 grandchildren, and a number
of great grandchildren.
