Mrs. S. E. Lawrence Dies At Home of Daughter Wed. A. M.

Mrs. Susan Emeline Lawrence, age 87, died early Wednesday morning at the home
of her daughter, Mrs. George McQuiston, in Shreveport and funeral services
were completed at the Tison Cemetery, 12 miles south of here, where interment
was made Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock.

She is survived by a number of relatives, among them Mrs. Laura Melton of
Packton, Mrs. Nora Page of Montgomery, Barney Tison of Verda.  Another of her
sisters was Mrs. Caledonia Tison Long, deceased wife of Huey P. Long.
