Lawson Held At Mt. Zion Feb. 5 Funeral services were conducted for Albert Lawson, 74, at Mt. Zion Methodist Church Monday, February 5, at 3 p.m. Services were conducted by the Rev. Smith, pastor, and Rev. J. A. Jones of Glenmora, former pastor. Mr. Lawson departed this life Sunday, February 4, 6 a.m. He had been in ill health for several years and had been confined to____________. He had been a resident of the Mt. Zion Community for a number of years and was a devout Christian, and was a member of the Mt. Zion Methodist Church. Survivors include his widow; five sons, ___ard, James, Clarence, and Paul of Montgomery, Leonard of Tioga; two daughters, Mrs. Ora Lee Pelton of Pittsburg, Pa., and Mrs. Burtie Hawkins of Manning, West Virginia; four brothers, Arlie Lawson of Chicago, Cecil of Decatur, Ill., Bill of _____, Ind., Charlie of Blackhawk, Ind.; one sister, Miss Cordia Lawson of Terre Haute, Ind. Pallbearers were Granville Kilpatrick, Eugene Garner, Ollie Bishop, Matt Longino, Olan Tilton, and Jessie Teddlie.
