Funeral Rites For Mrs. Aubrey Lawrence Held

Vada Ardell Lawrence, 57, of Hebert, near Columbia, died at 10 p.m. Thursday,
March 21, 1968 at a Winnfield hospital.

She was a native of Winn Parish.

Survivors include her husband, Aubrey Lawrence of Hebert; two daughters, Mrs.
Clotiel Hammond of Hebert and Mrs. Bobby Mackey of Gilmer; a brother, Lloyd
McCarty of Rayville; three sisters, Mrs. B. R. Noah of Ruston; Mrs. Leo Rachel
Gilbert, and Mrs. Doyce Pruett of Archieville; nine grandchildren and a great
grandchild.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Southern Funeral Home, with
Bro. Bill Anderson and Rev. Alson Jeter officiating.  Burial was in the New
Hope Cemetery near Winnfield.
