Railway Held Funeral services for H. C. Lea, who had been in the employ of the Tremont & Gulf Railway Company for over twenty-five years, were held at the Salem Graveyard, near Eros Monday, the Rev. Alwin Stokes, pastor Winnfield Presbyterian Church, in charge. Mr. Lea, 60 years of age, died at his home in Sikes late Saturday night with heart trouble. He had been a resident of Sikes four years, coming there from Eros and was originally from Texas. He was agent at the Sikes depot. The deceased is survived by his wife and three children, Miss Mina Lea of Sikes, Miss Lillian B. Lea of Mississippi, and Mrs. Ezra Rogers of Monroe; and a son and daughter by a former marriage, who reside in Texas.
