All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: December 13, 1962 Winn Parish Enterprise News-American Willie LeBaron Dies From Injuries In Mill Accident Funeral services for Willie Oscar LeBaron, 50, of Atlanta, who died Friday, December 7, at 7:45 a.m. from injuries received earlier in the week at the Brewton-Taylor Lumber mill where he was employed, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Mars Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. E. B. Barton, Rev. C. W. Jones, Rev. Lamar Skinner, and Rev. Ray Teal officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Hixson Funeral Home. Acting as pallbearers were Wilburn C. Lang, Jr., Clyce Lingenfelter, Kenneth Brady, Rupert LeBaron, O. K. Lang, and Phillip Dale Lang. Mr. LeBaron was a carpenter by trade and had worked in the mill for the past two years. He was a member of the Mars Hill Baptist Church. He is survived by his widow, the former Helen Eveleen Lang; a son, John Clark LeBaron of Atlanta; four brothers, Otto LeBaron of Pollock, Leon LeBaron of Verda, Dewey LeBaron of Montgomery, and Clifton LeBaron of Atlanta; four sisters, Mrs. Edward Chandler of Montgomery, Mrs. Lee Brady of Tioga, Mrs. Violet Simmons of Pollock, and Mrs. Hiram Forbes of Lake Providence; and his mother, Mrs. Minnie LeBaron of Montgomery.
