Ledbetter Held Feb. 6 Conducted at First Baptist Church. Interment in Local Cemetery Funeral services for Henry Ledbetter, 37 years of age, who died from bronchial pneumonia at a Pineville hospital Monday, February 4, 1935, following an illness of several months, were held at the First Baptist Church Wednesday afternoon with the pastor, Rev. B. C. Land in charge, and Rev. Alwin Stokes, Presbyterian pastor. Interment was in the Winnfield Cemetery. Mr. Ledbetter was born October 7, 1898 in Michigan. He came to Louisiana with is uncle, Mr. Frank Lancaster, about eighteen years ago. He was married to Miss Nina Bradford, to which union two children were born, Frank and Nina Mae, both of whom survive with his widow. He also leaves his mother, Mrs. John Udell of Three Rivers, Michigan, who arrived Wednesday for the funeral. Others surviving are a sister, Mrs. Mable Carpenter of Toledo, Ohio, an uncle, Frank Lancaster of Lake Charles, and his stepfather of Three Rivers, Michigan. Mr. Ledbetter was a member of the Winnfield First Baptist Church and a worker in the Sunday School. Members of the Kingdom Builders Bible Class acted as pallbearers. They were S. L. Garrett, P. Hugh Mercer, Clarence Gates, Wiley Hammons, Harper Terrill, and Ben Trahah.
