C. C. Lee, Native of Gaars Mill, Succumbs At 72

Graveside services for Cyrus Clayton Lee, 72, were held Friday at 2 p.m. in the
National Cemetery, Pineville, with Chaplain Felix Williams officiating.

Lee, a former resident of Natchitoches, died Thursday, July 22, in a Bastrop
hospital after a brief illness.

He was a native of Gaar's Mill, a retired storekeeper, and a resident of
Collinston for the past 12 years.  He was a member of the Baptist Church and the
American Legion, and was a veteran of World War I.

He is survived by a son, James K. Lee of Natchitoches; a sister, Mrs. George L.
Knapp of Monroe, and five grandchildren.
