Father of Mrs. Willard Harlan Dies In Monroe

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Thursday for Culbert Lee, 68, of Monroe,
who died early Wednesday, April 16, 1969, at St. Francis Hospital, following a
brief illness.

The Revs. Russell Burns and Wayne Gray officiated at Covenant Presbyterian
Church with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.

A native of Winn Parish, Mr. Lee was a retired pharmacist, a deacon at
Covenant Presbyterian Church, and a member of the El Dorado Masonic Lodge, El
Karubah Shrine Temple, Northeast Louisiana Shrine Club, Shreveport
Consistory, and the American Legion.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ruth Lee of Monroe; three daughters, Mrs.
Randall Goodwin of Baton Rouge, Mrs. Al Appel of Tucson, Ariz., and Mrs.
Willard Harlan of Winnfield; one sister, Mrs. George Knapp of Monroe; one
brother, C. C. Lee of Collinston, and 10 grandchildren.
