All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: July 30, 1942 Winn Parish Enterprise Henry Lee Dies Suddenly From Heart Attack Henry Lee, 57 year old resident of Winnfield, died suddenly Monday afternoon when stricken with a heart attack at 3 o'clock while working at the Lee Dunn sawmill in Winn Parish. Funerals services were held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the family residence on North Laurel Street with the Rev. Kitchingham of Columbia and Rev. Alwin Stokes of Winnfield in charge. Interment was made in the Sanders Cemetery with Edmonds Funeral Home, Jonesboro, in charge. Mr. Lee was born in Webster Parish August 10, 1884 and in 1909 moved to Winn Parish with his wife whom he had married the preceding year. They have resided here since that time. He had followed public works during his life. Pallbearers were Miley Walsworth, C. C. Parker, W. R. Eagles, Willie Poole, and Will Davidson. Surviving Mr. Lee are his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Ellis Ross of Monroe; one son, Jack Lee of Winnfield; two brothers, Tom and John Lee; and three sisters, Mrs. Rosa Waggoner, Mrs. Sally Blanchard, and Mrs. Anna Carroway of Shongaloo.
