He was a welder and was a native of Winn Parish. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary C. Leeper of Marrero; three sons, Jerry Leeper, Gerald Leeper, and James Alon Leeper, all of New Orleans; four brothers, Amos Leeper of Winnfield, Albert Leeper of Jacksonville, Fla., Herbert Leeper of Glenmora, and Eugene Leeper of Golden Meadow; two sisters, Mrs. Beulah Keiffer of Winnfield and Mrs. Vertie Holliday of Goldonna; his mother, Mrs. Emma Leeper of Calvin, and four grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Corinth Baptist Church with Rev. Rayford Higgs officiating. Burial was in the Corinth Cemetery under direction of Hixson Bros. Funeral Home of Winnfield.
