Final Rites For Kenny Ray Leeper Held Here Monday

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the South Winnfield Baptist
Church for Kenny Ray Leeper, 21 months old son of Mr. and Mrs. Alon Leeper of
New Orleans.  Interment was in the Corinth Cemetery.  Rev. R. L. Sjolander and
Rev. Alwin Stokes officiated at the services.

The child died in the Touro Infirmary in New Orleans Saturday at 2 p.m.  The
remains were conveyed to the home of Mrs. Leeper's mother, Mrs. Nora Cannon,
in South Winnfield, Sunday morning.

Three brothers, Gerald Eugene, Jerry Wayne, and James Alon and his parents
survive the child, and his grandmothers, Mrs. Emma Leeper and Mrs. Nora Cannon
of Winnfield.

Several uncles and aunts and cousins, residents of Winn Parish also are grief
stricken by the death of little Kenny Ray.

Hixson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
