Charlie LeMoine, Jr., Dies; Last Rites On Thursday

Charlie Lemoine, Jr., age 47, passed away at noon Wednesday, Jan. 16, in a
local hospital after a lengthy illness.  He was a resident of Atlanta and an
operator of heavy equipment.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the South Winnfield Baptist
Church with Rev. J. D. Thompson and Rev. Jimmie Payne officiating.  Burial was
in the St. Maurice Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, two daughters, Charlene Lemoine and Oline Lemoine
of Winnfield; five sisters, Mrs. Washie Perkins of Pickins, La., Mrs. Grover
Dubois, Houston, Texas, Mrs. Frank James, Baton Rouge, Mrs. George Thompson,
Montgomery, and Mrs. Oscar Bookout of Trout; and three brothers, Theopile and
J. W. Lemoine of Montgomery, and Joe Lemoine, Natchitoches.
