M. L. Lemoine, 62, Succumbs; Rites At Verda

Murrell L. Lemoine, 62, died suddenly at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 26,
1972, at his home in Verda.  He was a highway construction worker and native
of Verda.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Goldie Maxwell Lemoine; two sons, James
Lemoine and El Ray Lemoine; two grandsons, Jerry Lemoine, 10, and Jay Lemoine,
4, all of Verda, La.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 28, at the Verda
Baptist Church with Shelton Spears and Richard Trump officiating.

Pallbearers were Tommy Silk, Hershel Bryant, Glen Maxwell, M. M. Moody, Sonny
Seward, and Dick Maxwell.

Burial was in Verda Cemetery.
