Winn Parish Native Dies Unexpectedly

Funeral services for Clyde H. Lewis, 50, of Enterprise, principal of
Enterprise High School, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at New Ouachita Baptist
Church with Rev. Jack Crews officiating.  Interment was in Rosefield
Cemetery, near Enterprise.

Mr. Lewis, a native of Winn Parish, the Lewis Chapel community, was the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Luther Lewis of Enterprise and the grandson of the late Rev. 
Henry who established Lewis Chapel Church in that community.

Mr. Lewis died unexpectedly Monday, July 7, 1969, in Bossier City, where he
became ill, after starting on vacation.

Survivors include his widow, two sons, three daughters, two brothers, five
sisters, his parents, and two grandchildren.
