Miss Elizabeth Lewis Dies; Rites Held Saturday

Miss Elizabeth Lewis, 65, of Winnfield, died Friday, July 19, 1968.

Miss Lewis was the daughter of the late Rev. Henry Lewis and Alice Smith
Lewis.  She was the granddaughter of the late Pat and Rhoda Smith of the
Jordan Hill Community.  A retired school teacher, she was a member of the
Lewis Chapel Methodist Church, which was established by her father, and she
spent most of her lifetime in the Lewis Chapel Community.

Survivors are two brothers, J. J. Lewis of Oak Grove, Luther Lewis of
Enterprise; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Southern Funeral Home
Chapel.  Burial was in Corinth Tabernacle Cemetery.
