Mrs. Eva Lewis, 80, Dies; Burial At Union Grove

Mrs. Eva Lewis, 80, of Montgomery, died Monday, June 28, 1971 in a Shreveport
hospital.  She was a native of Montgomery.

Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church
in Montgomery with Rev. Dumas and Rev. Roy Moore officiating.  Interment,
under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield, was at Union Grove
Cemetery near Montgomery.

Survivors include five sons, A. J. Lewis of Montgomery, William Lewis of
Pollock, Willard Lewis, Buddy Lewis, both of Keithville, and James Lewis of
Dallas, Texas; three daughters, Mrs. Ottis Williams of Charleston, S. C., Mrs.
Carey Silman of Montgomery, and Mrs. Lee Allen of Keithville; 27
grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
