Funeral Rites For Henry A. Lewis Held Wed.

Henry Aaron Lewis, 81, died Monday, June 16, 1969 at 10 a.m. in a Winnfield
nursing home.  He was a native and former resident of Montgomery.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Minnie Davis Lewis of Montgomery, three sons,
John O. Lewis and Lawrence Lewis, both of Montgomery, and Otha Lewis of
Olympia, Washington; one daughter, Mrs. Margaret Pursley of Haughton; one
half sister, Mrs. Ellen Monk of Lena; nine grandchildren and seven great
grandchildren.

Remains were at the home of Lawrence Lewis in Montgomery until funeral 
services at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday in the United Pentecostal Church of 
Montgomery.  Rev. Otis Davidson officiated at the services and graveside rites
were in Union Grove Cemetery.  Funeral arrangements were under direction of
Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Winnfield.
