Mrs. Gus T. Lewis Dies In Houston; Rites Held Monday

Mrs. Nina Belle Lewis, 73, of Montgomery died Saturday, January 11, 1969 in a
Houston, Texas hospital after a long illness.  She was the widow of Gus T.
Lewis.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday in Union Hill Baptist Church near
Montgomery.  Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Southern
Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Survivors are one son, Theo Lewis of Houston, Texas; three daughters, Mrs.
James Carr and Evelyn Sessions, both of Houston, Texas, and Mrs. Gordon
Strouse of Beaumont, Texas; a brother, Alvin Davis of Montgomery; a sister,
Minnie Lewis of Winnfield; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
