Mrs. Lindsay, 79, Former Winn Resident, Dies

Mrs. Claudia Waller Lindsay, 79, formerly of Winnfield, died at 11:45 p.m.
Friday, December 8, 1972 in the Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Hammond, after
a lengthy illness.

Funeral services were held Monday morning at 10 o'clock in the Chapel of
McKneely Funeral Home in Ponchatoula with Rev. Lawrence Clegg, pastor of the
First Baptist Church, officiating.  Interment was in the Ponchatoula Cemetery.

She is survived by two sons, Howard Lindsay of Houston, Tex., and Hubert
Lindsay of Baton Rouge; three sisters, Mrs. W. J. Wade of Grenada, Miss., Mrs.
T. H. Rayburn of Pontotoc, Miss., and Mrs. L. Houston Smith of Winnfield; two
grandsons, one granddaughter, and two great grandsons.
