All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: November 22, 1928 Winn Parish Enterprise "Mickey" Lemoine Is Dead The many friends of Henry "Mickey" Lemoine, Confederate Veteran, will be sorry to learn of his death at Camp Nichols Soldiers' Home in New Orleans on September 9. Before entering the Home, "Mickey" Lemoine was a familiar figure in Winnfield. Everybody knew him and he had many friends in this city and throughout Winn Parish. He made his home with his nephew, R. H. Creel, who lives near Winnfield, and other relatives. Mr. Creel, not hearing from his uncle, wrote to the Soldiers' Home and learned of his death on September 9. He was buried in the government cemetery.
