Mrs. Mary Lewis, 70, Relative of Several Local People, Dies 2nd

Mrs. Mary E. Lewis, aged 70 years, died at the family residence in Bentley,
La., at 6:35 a.m. Thursday, January 30th.

The deceased is survived by her husband, E. H. Lewis, of Bentley; two sons,
Barney Lewis and Henry Lewis, of Bentley; seven daughters, Mrs. Harry White,
Epps, La.; Mrs. Neva L. Pruitt, Bentley, La.; Edith L. Wheat, Jonesboro, La.;
Mrs. R. G. Hart, Sterling, La.; Miss Angelique Lewis, Washington, D. C.; Mrs.
J. F. Lovell, Winnfield, La.; one brother, Spencer L. Smith, Bentley; three
sisters, Mrs. Alice Long, Mrs. L. C. Lowery, and Mrs. Art Kyson, Winnfield.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 31, with interment in
the Oak Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Hixon Brothers funeral
directors.
