Harrison Long of Corinth Funeral Services Are Held Thursday Afternoon At Corinth Mrs. J. H. (Harrison) Long, 71 years of age, died at her home in the Corinth Community Wednesday afternoon, January 15, 1936, following a short illness since Sunday. Funeral services were conducted at the Corinth Baptist Church Thursday afternoon with Rev. Alwin Stokes, Presbyterian pastor of Winnfield, in charge. Mrs. Long was born in Mobile, Ala., in 1865. She came to Winn Parish at the age of 25 years when she married Mr. Long, and has resided here since. Before her marriage she was Miss Molly Guin. She was a member of the Corinth Baptist Church. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband and the following sons and daughters: Mrs. T. F. Waxley, Mrs. A. B. Coburn, G. M. Long, Mrs. E. M. Plunkett, Odus Long, Lonnie Long, all of Corinth; Ben Long of Olla; Henry F. Long of Rio Grande City, Texas; and Mrs. Morris Shaw of Winnfield; one brother, Capt. Guin of Montgomery; ten grandchildren and a host of friends and relatives.
