Wife of Dr. George S. Long Buried In Alexandria Tuesday

Mrs. Mary Katherine Long, wife of Dr. George Long, formerly of Winnfield, was
buried Tuesday in Greenwood Memorial Park Cemetery in Alexandria.  Funeral
services were held in Hixson Brothers chapel with Rev. R. Houston Smith
officiating.

Mrs. Long died Sunday after an illness of about five weeks in an Alexandria
hospital.  She is survived by her husband.
