F. Morrison residence on the Natchitoches highway at 2 p.m. Monday, November 8, with the Rev. Alwin Stokes officiating, assisted by Rev. H. H. McBride. Burial was in the Winnfield Cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home. Mr. Long, who had been employed as a salesman for an implement company in Baton Rouge for many years, was born and reared in Winnfield. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Long, Sr., of this city. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Blanche Long of Baton Rouge; two brothers, W. Otho Long and Murphy Long of Winnfield; and one sister, Miss Edith Ann Long of Winnfield. Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends. Pallbearers were Johnnie Boyle, A. W. Duke, Albert Liggen, W. A. "Pete" Cooper, Hope May, Sidney Starnes, R. F. Roberts, and Tommie Bradford.
