James D. Long, 75, Expires; Rites Thursday

James D. Long, 75, Route 2, Winnfield, expired September 1, 1970 in General
Hospital after a lengthy illness.

He was a native of Winn Parish and a member of the Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held Thursday in Southern Funeral Home Chapel with
Rev. Jimmy Yocum officiating, assisted by Rev. J. L. Holt.  Interment will be
in Corinth Tabernacle Cemetery under direction of Southern.

Survivors include one son, James Long of Henderson, Kentucky; one daughter,
Mrs. Doris Sanders of Hot Springs, Ark.; one brother, Charlie Long of
Falfurrias, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Nettie Miller and Mrs. Claudie Tanner,
both of Joyce; Mrs. Robbie Gray of El Paso, Texas; one grandchild and one
great grandchild.
