J. Q. Long Of Colfax Dies Suddenly Tues.

Mrs. Lawson McDonald received a message from Colfax Wednesday that her uncle,
Mr. J. Q. Long of that city, died in his office in town shortly after dinner.
Mr. Long had gone to his home for dinner and had returned to his office in
town.  When his associates noticed him he was leaning back in his chair
apparently asleep, but when they noticed more carefully, they found that he
was dead.  Funeral arrangements had not been made when Mrs. McDonald received
the message.

Mr. Long was the father of Mrs. Mike Bozeman formerly of Winnfield.
