Lee Fred Long, 74, Dies After Lengthy Illness

Lee Fred Long, 74, a resident of Route 2, Winnfield, died Friday, January 5,
1973 in the St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria after a long illness.

A native of Winn Parish, Mr. Long was a member of the Jordan Hill Pentecostal
Church and was retired, after many years of employment with the Louisiana
Department of Highways.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Sunday in the Jordan Hill Pentecostal
Church in Jordan Hill near Winnfield, with the Rev. Francis Ashley
officiating, assisted by the Rev. Durwood Hallmark and the Rev. Dee
Breithaupt. Burial was in Big Creek Cemetery.

Survivors include his widow; three brothers, Reginald Long, Earl Long, both of
Winnfield, and Edwin Long of Henderson, Texas.
