Final Rites For Olney Long Held At Zion Church

Olney Andrew Long, 72, of Georgetown, died at 9:40 a.m. Wednesday, March 29,
1967, in an Alexandria hospital.

He was a retired purchasing agent for the Grant Parish School Board, member of
the Georgetown Masonic Lodge No. 298, and of the Zion Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Zuella Puckett Long of Georgetown; a son, William
O. Long of Georgetown; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Long Rambo; two brothers, F. W.
Long of Georgetown, and O. H. Long of Alexandria; three grandchildren and one
great grandchild.  

Final rites were conducted Thursday in the Zion Baptist Church with the Rev.
William Smith and the Rev. Howard Smith officiating.

Burial was in the Zion Cemetery with Masonic graveside rites conducted by
Lodge No. 298 F. & A. M.

Pallbearers were Darrell Glascock, C. R. Long, Jerry Long, C. B. Horne, Larry
Rambo, and Gerald Creed.
