All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: April 11, 1935 Winn Parish Enterpise Mrs. Odus Long Buried At Corinth Friday Funeral services for Mrs. Odus Long, 32 years of age, who died at her home at Corinth, Thursday, April 4, 1935, following a long illness, were held at the Corinth Church Friday afternoon with the Rev. Alwin Stokes, pastor of Winnfield Presbyterian Church in charge. Interment was in the Corinth Cemetery. Pallbearers were Buck Edmonds, Hayan McDaniel, Bud Davis, Wade Moore, Fred Bolton, and Jeff Gentry. Mrs. Long had recently returned from New Orleans where she had received treatment in the hospital there. She is survived by her husband and one daughter, Cleo; four sisters, Mrs. Jesse Roberts, Winnfield; Mrs. Lawson Bolton, Olla; Mrs. Rosa Smith, Newport, La.; and Mrs. Lessie Massey; and four brothers, John Vaughan of Winnfield, Sam, Walter, and Homer Vaughan.
