Odus L. Long, 69, Succumbs; Rites Held At Corinth

Odus L. Long, 69, of Winnfield, died Sunday, June 21, 1970, in Winnfield
General Hospital.

He was a logging contractor and a native of Winnfield.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Odus Long of Winnfield; one step daughter,
Mrs. Cleo Shepard; three brothers, Manuel Long, Lonnie Long, and Ben Long, all
of Winnfield; and three sisters, Mrs. Ella Waxley and Mrs. J. H. Jourdan, both
of Winnfield, and Mrs. Dona Coburn of Pineville.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Corinth Baptist Church, Rev.
Rayford Higgs officiating.  Burial was in Garden of Memories Cemetery under
direction of Southern Funeral Home.
