Parker J. Long

Services for Parker J. Long were held at 10 a.m. Monday in the chapel of
Southern with the Rev. James Simons officiating.  Burial was in Jones
Cemetery.

Long, 62, of Winnfield, died at 6:45 p.m. Friday, March 28, 1986 in his
residence.

He was a World War II veteran, a Baptist, and a graduate of Northwestern State
University, Natchitoches.

Survivors include his wife, Kay Long of Winnfield; two sons, Ralph Long of
Dallas, Texas, and Jimmy Long; his father, G. Parker Long of Winnfield; one
sister, Alice Louvenia Tullier of Ball; three stepsons, Rodney Neyra of
Houston, Texas, Tony Neyra of Winnfield, and Ed Neyra of Dallas, Texas; one
stepdaughter, Pamella Minnis of Dallas, Texas; and 10 grandchildren.
