W. O. Long

Services for W. O. "Sonny Boy" Long were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel
of Southern with the Rev. Norris Curry officiating.  Burial was in the Cox-
Guin Cemetery near Tullos.

Long, 54, of Tullos, died at 12:01 a.m. Sunday, September 26, 1982 in Veterans
Administration Medical Center, Pineville.  He was a veteran of World War II
and a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Tullos.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Long of Tullos; three sons, Dale Long of
Winnfield, Gene Long of Coushatta, and Shane Long of Tullos; two daughters,
Ronda Long of Humble, Texas and Lessie Snowden of Winnfield; his father, Oscar
Long of Winnfield; four sisters, Cornelia Pray, Priscilla Bedgood, and Scarlet
Gates, all of Winnfield, and Mary Long of Fort Worth; and give grandchildren.
