Final Rites For J. H. Long Held Friday, Oct. 25

Funeral services were held for Joseph Harrison Long, Friday, Oct. 25, at 2:30
p.m. at the Corinth Baptist Church.  Officiating were Rev. J. A. Cockerham,
Rev. George Foster, and Rev. Clyde Shaw.  Burial was in the Corinth Cemetery.

Grandsons acted as pallbearers.  They were Roy Waxley, Nelson Coburn, B. J.
Long, William H. Long, Don Rogers Long, and Thomas Waxley.

Out Of Town Relatives, Friends At Funeral

Among the out of town relatives and friends attending the funeral of Mr. Long
were Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Colvin and Mr. and Mrs. Johnny DeRocco and daughter
of Alexandria; Congressman George S. Long of Pineville; Walter Guin, Mr. and
Mrs. Felix Long and Mrs. Beaudo Lavespere, all of Tullos; Mr. and Mrs. John
Sparks of Olla; Mr. and Mrs. D. J. Long of Shreveport; Mr. and Mrs. Long of
Thibodaux; Mrs. Kenneth Grissom of Dallas; Woodie Jean Sonnier of San Antonio,
Texas.
