Mrs. M. Machen Dies; Funeral Rites Held Sun.

Mrs. Maude Ann Long Machen, 82, of Winnfield, died at 3 a.m. Saturday, May 9,
1970, in a Winnfield hospital.

Mrs. Machen was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Tom Long, a native of
Winn Parish, and a member of the First Baptist Church.

Funeral services were conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in First Baptist Church with
Rev. Thomas Cox officiating.  Interment was in Winnfield Cemetery under
direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Carter of Winnfield and Mrs.
Gustine Bowen of Kilgore, Texas; one grandson, Jim Bob Key of Natchitoches;
and three great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Gillis Long, Jimmy Long, Bill Long, C. R. Long, Cliff Long,
Carroll Long, David Addington, and Robbie LeBarron.

J. W. Long was honorary pallbearer.
