Mrs. J. W. Long Succumbs To A Short Illness

Mrs. J. W. Long, operator of Freddie Lea's Beauth Shop in Laurel Heights, died
in a local hospital Tuesday night following a short illness.

Funeral arrangements were incomplete as this newspaper went to press.  Mrs.
Long's husband had suffered a heart attack Monday and has been very ill in the
hospital.

Mrs. Long was a member of the Laurel Heights Assembly of God Church.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Shelty Bonnette of Winnfield
and Marlin Bonnette of Natchitoches; one daugther, Mrs. Ernest Glenn (Carroll
Jean) Timon of Shreveport; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Gunter of Saline
Lake; two brothers, Rev. Edgar Gunter orf Jonesboro and Lannie Gunter of
Monroe; and one sister, Mrs. Lloyd Bonnette of Goldonna.
