Longino, 76, died January 31, 1953 at 9:05 p.m. in a Pineville hospital. He had been in ill health for some time. Funeral services were conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Old Bethany Church on Highway 71, north of Campti, with Rev. Louis B. Williams of Corinth Church of Winnfield, officiating. He was assisted by Rev. C. M. Robinson, also of Winnfield. Pallbearers, friends of his and the family, were George Bemont, Lonnie Long, Houston Blackstock, Lehmon Sullivan, Robert Smith, and Edgar Frazier. Mr. Longino was a resident of Winnfield until just before his death. He was born in Red River Parish February 5, 1876 and lived most of his life in Grant and Winn Parishes. He was married to Miss Lucy Wren who preceded him in death eight months and two weeks. In younger life he was a very active church worker. He was a retired farmer. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Woodrow C. Blackstock and Mrs. Belva Leeper of Winnfield, two grandchildren, Mary Bernice Blackstock and Curtis Dale Leeper of Winnfield, four brothers, A. T. of Montgomery, H. I. of Atlanta, W. D. of Coushatta, and H. S. of Winnfield, and a host of nieces and nephews.
