Funeral Is Held Wednesday For Solomon R. Looper

Succumbs At Home of His Daughter, Mrs. J. F. Walker

Solomon Russell Looper, 83, died Monday morning at 11 o'clock at the home of
his daughter, Mrs. J. F. Walker, with whom he had been living for the past six
years.  Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church here at 3 p.m.
Wednesday with Rev. H. H. McBride officiating, and interment was in the Dry
Prong Cemetery.

Mr. Looper is survived by two sons, F. W. and J. F. of Bentley; two daughters,
Miss Elsie Looper of Bentley and Mrs. J. F. Walker of Winnfield and a number
of grandchildren.
