Mrs. Archie Lovell Of Atlanta Dies In Hospital Monday

Plans for the funeral services of Mrs. Archie Lovell of Atlanta, Route 1, who
died in a Shreveport hospital Monday had not been completed Wednesday,
awaiting information from her husband, Archie Lovell, who is with the U. S.
Navy stationed at Norfolk, Va., and two brothers who are also in the U. S. Navy.

The deceased was only 16 years of age and had been ill about three weeks, most
of which time she was unconscious.

She was a member of the Mars Hill Baptist Church, where funeral services are
expected to be held.

Surviving her are her husband, Archie Lovell and parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. P.
McManus of Atlanta; two sisters, Mrs. Althea Kendrick of Atlanta and Mrs. Ben
Thrower of Houston, Texas; seven brothers, James McManus, Aaron McManus, and
Elzie McManus, of Atlanta, Debs McManus of Goosecreek, Texas, and Grant
McManus, Jr., of the U. S. Navy, and one small 
brother.
