All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: June 7, 1945 Winn Parish Enterprise Death Claims Beauford Lovett Of Atlanta June 4 Funeral services for Beauford Bradford Lovett, 73, who died at his residence in Atlanta, June 4, after an illness of several months, were held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Mars Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. E. O. Brackman and the Rev. L. Shaw officiating. Mr. Lovett was born and reared at Tide, La. He was a member of the Baptist Church. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Della Lovett; three sons, Elmer and Virgil, both in the Navy; and Doylee, U. S. Army, all of whom are overseas; four daughters, Mrs. F. Y. Ashford, Shreveport, Mrs. Albert Futrell, Watson, Ark., Mrs. V. H. Fulghum, Raleigh, N. C., and Mrs. J. L. Carter, Atlanta, La. He also leaves one brother, Q. P. Lovett of Verda, La.; two sisters, Mrs. Susan Chelette of Colfax and Mrs. Maude Brossett of Winnfield; and five grandchildren. Burial was under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Winnfield. The pallbearers were Leon Hanson, Edward Hanson, A. L. Lang, H. E. Lang, C. H. Ferguson, and J. A. Philen.
