Mother of Mrs. Clara Cox of Atlanta Dies In San Antonio

Funeral services for Mrs. Malissa R. Lovell, 77, native of Grant Parish, and
former resident of Atlanta, La., who died March 5, at San Antonio, Texas, were
held March 8 with the Rev. Mr. Berry, pastor of the Southside Baptist
Church of San Antonio, officiating.

Survivors include eight sons, James of San Antonio, Johnnie of Ringgold, La.,
Thomas and William of Lubbock, Texas, Fred of Brownsfield, Texas, Robert of
Santa Fe, New Mexico, Gervis of Big Springs, Texas, Ellis of Pollock; two
daughters, Mrs. Mary Waits of Longview, Texas and Mrs. Clara Cox of Atlanta,
La.  She also leaves 32 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
