Lowe of Calvin Friday Succumbs After Two Year's Illness; Buried At Teagle Cemetery Funeral services for Mrs. George W. Lowe, 49 years of age who died at her home in Calvin early Thursday morning, will be held at the Baptist Church in Calvin Friday morning, August 4, 1933, at nine o'clock. The Rev. J. D. Kitchenham, of Columbia and the Rev. Shows of Calvin will have charge of the services. Interment will be made in the Teagle Cemetery. Mrs. Lowe had been in ill health for the past two years. She had recently returned from a New Orleans hospital where she had received treatment. The deceased is a native of Winn Parish, being the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. S. G. Milam, pioneer residents, and was before her marriage to Mr. Lowe, Miss Hattie Milam. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Herschel and G. W., and one daughter, Miss Pearl Lowe of Calvin. She is also the aunt of Mrs. J. B. Stothart and Mr. Matt Milam, of Winnfield. One brother, Dennis Milam, of near West Monroe, also survives, as well as numerous relatives in this section.
