L. S. Lowdermilk, 84, Succumbs; Rites Were Sun.

Lillard S. Lowdermilk, 84, of Pasadena, Tex., died Friday, August 16, 1974
following a long illness.

Mr. Lowdermilk was a member of the Asbury Methodist Church in Pasadena.  His
wife was the former Louisa B. Jones of Calvin.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel with
the Rev. Robert Starbuck officiating.  Burial was in the Bolton-Teagle
Cemetery in Winnfield.

Survivors include two sons, Samuel M. Lowdermilk of Porter, Tex., and George
D. Lowdermilk of Houston, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Cohran of
Pasadena, Tex., and Mrs. C. E. Chandler of Calvin; a brother, Claude
Lowdermilk of Prescott, Ark.; 10 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
