Mrs. Emily Lowe, 79, Dies After Lengthy Illness

Mrs. Emily Lowe, 79, died Saturday in a Winnfield hospital after a lengthy
illness.

Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Calvin Baptist Church with
the Rev. G. P. McManus officiating.  Burial was in the Clear Lake Cemetery
under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home.

Surviving are two sons, Jeff Franks of Chestnut, and Doc Franks of Lexington,
Ky.; three daughters, Mrs. Roy Fredricks of Goldonna, Mrs. A. H. Jones of
Shreveport, and Mrs. E. W. Hennigan of Calvin; a sister, Mrs. J. J.
Fredricks of Goldonna; 15 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
