Mrs. J. H. Lowery Expires After A Short Illness

Mrs. Nancy Smith Lowery, 80, expired at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 21, in a
local nursing home after a short illness.

A native of Winn Parish, Mrs. Lowery was a member of the Corinth Baptist
Church.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 23, 1965, at 10 a.m. at the Corinth
Baptist Church with Rev. Lester Carpenter officiating.  Burial will be in
the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband, John H. Lowery of Route 2, Winnfield; two sons,
John Aaron Lowery, Doyline, and James W. Lowery, Vidalia; two daughters,
Mrs. Charlie Waller, Dodson, and Mrs. Bee Carrara of Baton Rouge; 11
grandchildren and one great grandchild.
