Final Rites On Monday For Miss Maggie Lowe, 80

Miss Maggie Lowe succumbed Sunday after a long illness.  Last rites were held
Monday at 2 p.m. at New Jerusalem Baptist Church, of which she was a member. 
Miss Lowe was 80 years of age.

Rev. George Foster officiated the funeral, assisted by Rev. Henry Fox and Rev.
A. L. Norsworthy.

Miss Lowe was a native of this parish and made her home recently with her
niece, Mrs. Raydo Wallace.  Mrs. Wallace is of Winnfield and Miss Lowe lived
with her until her death September 6.

She was a half sister of Mrs. Jessie Alford, who passed away of a heart attack
September 2.

She is survived by a half brother, John Lowe, of Gilbert, La., and a host of
nieces and nephews and friends.

Burial was in Clear Lake Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.
