Enos R. Lucas Of Sikes Is Buried Sunday

Enos R. Lucas, 79, native and long time resident of Sikes, was buried Sunday,
March 6.  Mr. Lucas died Saturday in a Shreveport hospital.

Services were at 4 p.m. at the Sikes Baptist Church with Rev. O. C. Clark of
Monroe and Rev. Jerry Smocker of Shreveport in charge.  Burial was in the
church cemetery under direction of Hixson Bros. Funeral Home.

Mr. Lucas is survived by three sons, H. W. Lucas of Pineville, Clomer Lucas of
Shreveport, and Loise A. Lucas of Springhill; three daughters, Mrs. C. L.
McDavid of Baton Rouge, Mrs. Earnest Jordan of Clarks, and Mrs. Early Mercer
of Tullos; one brother, William Lucas of Chatham; two sisters, Mrs. Rosa
Devore of Alexandria and Mrs. Rebecca Watson of Pineville; and 11
grandchildren.

Pallbearers were grandsons.
