John Lucas Dies At Colfax Sunday; Is Buried Monday

DODSON, Feb. 26, 1930 (Special) - John Lucas, age 70, brother of
our genial postmaster, J. P. Lucas, was buried Monday afternoon at Mineral
Springs cemetery, several miles east of Dodson.  Mr. Lucas had been in ill
health for several months at his home at Colfax, and died Sunday night.

He is survived by six children, his wife having died several years ago.

The body was interred Monday afternoon, the Rev. Danby, Methodist minister,
having officiated.  Mr. Lucas was a member of the Masonic order.
